Reasons for not dating a single mother

In any case, I'm far removed from dating, but, curious about how young people think today!

From your post, it sounds like you are 'painting' with a pretty broad 'judgment brush' ...and/or perhaps just got 'burned' in a relationship with a single-mother (? Why else would you (reasonably attractive and not dating in this arena) be so concerned about the dating habits of 'single mothers' and 'desperate men? There was this checker at Safeway that, every time I got up to the pay station, she would just begin talking about her kids.

He's careful to say that this video isn't a knock against women without children, but he proceeds to give seven reasons why dating a woman with children is great. Not only are these men desperate, but they have no self-worth in themselves because they willing want to raise another man's offspring, most likely "bad boy" offspring at that, and take resources from their labors that could be used to propagate their own biological offspring - which even further makes them biological failures along with being desperate and having no self worth. If somebody like me, who is reasonably attractive, can meet and date good-looking women that are not single moms, then these desperate men, at the very least, can meet and date decent or semi-decent women that are not single moms as well, and never as so to lower themselves to date single moms, or they can choose not to even date women and stay single and have their self worth intact as a man. Some are funny, like this point: "The first to several benefits of dating a woman with children is that she's likely already used to cooking, without anybody having to beg her because she has a child that needs to eat, right? And some are more serious, like when he says single moms probably have their own source of income and are financially independent, or single moms may be less likely to ditch when the relationship gets hard."I'm talking about loss of job, sickness, or just a bad argument.

  1. Marked by facilely accurate discernment, judgment, or assessment. Duncan Mac Dougall weighed six patients while they were in the process of dying from tuberculosis in an old age home.

  2. They’re a staple of Jane Austen novels: John Willoughby, who caddishly breaks Marianne’s heart in “Sense and Sensibility”; George Wickham, who reels in both Lizzy and Lydia Bennett in “Pride and Prejudice”; Frank Churchill, in “Emma,” who flirts with Miss Woodhouse while being secretly engaged to her frenemy, Jane Fairfax. As a twenty-first-century guy living in one of the most culturally liberal of American cities, he had options available to him that men in Regency England did not.
